THE PURPOSE: Emerging outdoor company, Red Ledge, came to BKWLD to create a user-friendly website that would reinvent their brand and showcase their quality and affordable clothing. THE PLAN: We decided to differentiate Red Ledge by poking fun at the ridiculous "extreme" nature of some of their competitors messages. We developed a series of ?ash panel animations that take the user through a quest of reality to non-reality, relaying the message that “It?s just a F&%$ing jacket”. Most likely you will not be wearing it to the Alaskan Ididorod but in everyday life instead. THE OUTCOME: An enticing and witty site that shows the world that outdoor clothing can be worn for everyday life and not just to battle the African wilderness.
